Congratulations to Paulette and her team for a truly enjoyable production of ‘Alice In Cuckoo Land’. The audiences were not as numerous as we’d hoped but those that were able to make it had a great time, and behaved exactly as they should in a pantomime – ‘Oh Yes They Did!’ As a bonus, almost £114 was raised for our chosen charity, Dorset Wildlife Trust.
So, was it fun? Did Alice and her friends manage to sort out the evil Queen of Hearts? Was Christmas finally allowed to happen, and did the Hatter and Old Mother Wobbly finally tie the knot and live happily ever after?
Yes! …….and they all lived happily ever after!

Please note: Cat & Canary dates have since changed, they are now 18 – 21 November inclusive. Be aware also that there is no Saturday matinee as we usually have. On this occasion, it has been replaced by an additional evening performance on Wednesday 18th Nov.
Our Pantomime has been and gone. The proscenium arch and stage have been dismantled and hidden away for another year, and normal Village Hall activities are resumed. We thank all regular Village Hall users for their co-operation that made it possible for us to take it over for an extended week.
But wait, we have another production planned for November 2026 – The Cat and The Canary!
