So, here we are folks, all working hard to present you this amazing production in March 2022!
Above you see cast members taking a well earned rehearsal break!
A few points to note:-
You’ve probably seen the famous film & numerous images from that. You may even have read the books or seen stage versions, usually based on the film.
But this will be Double Act’s own immersive interpretation based on the original story by L. Frank Baum and the drawings first printed with it.
So be warned – the story isn’t just about rainbows, merry Munchkins and a wonderful wizard, it also contains wicked witches, evil monkeys and other weird creatures that the author dreamed up. Therefore, some sequences may not be suitable for those of a nervous disposition!

Covid precautions (these may be subject change)
This is an immersive experience with the audience right up close to all the action.
Therefore face coverings will have to be worn by the audience throughout the show. All the cast will be testing everyday during the show’s run and we strongly recommend that all the audience do so within 48 hours of the performance. The hall will be well ventilated and sensible social distancing encouraged when moving around the building to get refreshments or using the toilets. Hand sanitisers will be available on entry, by refreshments and in toilets.
